24 discus, 6 geos, 60 tetra, 2 corys, 4 plecos
fed flake once a day
fed live blackworms 2-3x day
filtration:
2xfx5's - cleaned out once every 1.5months
1xsump with dual filter socks - changed out every 1.5 weeks
water change @ 60% every other week
so, ive done what i could to keep organic wastes to a minimum, but my nitrates were still hovering around 30-40ppm
added a full (large $20) pothos plant by placing eggcrate all along the top (i have this tank open top)
after waiting 2 weeks
nitrates @ 5ppm
once the new reactor gets the 6L of purigen going....hoping to have a pristine environment.....
