any fake real-looking plants out there?

Some of the silk plants look ok, but they cost a lot more than the real plant. Any reason you want fake??

ya the silk plants look real but they cost a little more. if u have the time i would go with real plants, if u dont like me go with the fake silk plants :)

silk plants. they last and look good. you can always wash em if they are getting covered in crap. generally hardier than real plants

true, but for keeping predatory fishes , i still feel fake plants are suitable too, provided its aquarium safe. some plantedtank do mix and match live and fake plants too

Generally, predatory fishes don't interfere too much with live plants. It's mostly when you keep herbivores that you have to resort to fake plants if you want the looks. I personally think that fake plants look even more fake when placed next to a live plant. Thus, I would not recommend to use both in the same tank.

I agree, especially if your real plants are very healthy, or not healthy. Cause who would make a fake plant that was half dead?

hmmmm , what type of hardy live plants i should be lookin at? nanas?
