I made a 6" PVC bridge to join my two 75 gallon tanks. Well air got in somehow and broke the siphon, so I siliconed the seems, and then decided to plasti dip spray the whole thing so it will never leak in air.. I did a heavy coat on it but it's not perfect cause algae will grow on it anyways. So,,, it's been 5 hours, can I stick it in my tank? It's dry and has a small hint of the smell to it on the seems. What you guys think? Don't want to hurt my gorgeous fish :( they already have a little ich and I'm treating their food in garlic to help.

I always use the smell test, if you can smell it it is releasing something. Maybe a 5 gallon bucket , a heater and a powerhead and put a hermit or brittle star in there for a day with it to see what happens.
