I've been working on an aquarium sand fall in my 125. I'm having issues catching the sand that falls out of the pvc pipe. I have a small plastic container that may solve this issue. Is plastic safe for an aquarium? I'll use rocks to cover up the plastic.

It depends on the plastic. PVC, vinyl, HDPE, are all considered good and used by people here, as far as I know, wth no ill effects. Anything that came with food in it should be food grade and okay.

Right on thanks. So the plastic is from an API test kit I bought. I'll keep an eye out for other square shaped plastics too.
