Plastic-Mart stock tanks?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Contact them! Their website has a link to "contact us"! Ask them what the wall thickness is. I would think it would be tough as it is made to stay outside in the weather and sun. Also as it is made to water livestock so it shouldn't break easily.

I have one of theyre stock tanks that I use for a indoor pond. Works good and theyre really sturdy. U can get them a theisons and other farm stores depending on where you live

I've seen those (or one very similar) available at a Tractor Supply Store. It was 6-7 ft in diameter, and 24" tall.

Seems burley enough....

Yes, I emailed them but I have seen some flimsy and weak stock tanks so thought best to inquire here if anyone knows the brand.

Thanks

Thanks that's the info I needed. Have to order it but considering the price on this model is inexpensive even if shipping is as much or bit more going to order it.
I looked there is no http://www.theisens.com/store/c-2-farm-ranch.aspx in my area .

I have a car and since its a convertible with the 100 to 150 gall rubbermaid stock tanks I was sinply able to put it in back but this just to big :irked:.
Perfect size to combine my 3 dollar sunfish and 2 pairs of firemouths which is what I was looking for instead of several stock tanks.

Thanks again

I was at Tractor supply couple weeks ago they had roughly same size but metal style and won't use metal.

I could line it with pool liner but imagine the metal just absorbs heat as 1/4 of the tank will always be exposed to sun .

To bad because they were on sale and great looking but again rather go with plastic.

Tractor supply here doesnt carry that brand name so ordering it . Shipping sucks but thats life in the stock tank world lol.

I plan to replace this 40 gallon tub which houses 1 m 2 f Florida dollar suns and just combine them with my firemouths since room will now allow it.

I am very limited as far as shaded areas in my yard . Most of my backyard yard is like the equator so shaded stock tank area is limited (between house and garage) .

Thanks
