Advice for keeping a "platinum" cat platinum is empty ur bank account lol... Lower grade, lower price will most likely be pied or have degrees of pigment. You can try white tank treatment but a pied is a pied and a platinum is a platinum... true platinum will not change or gain pigment at any point in its life. Ive been calling mine a "dirty lucy"... seen a few others go by "golden rtc" but grade wise u get what u pay for so to speak and should almost expect it to change somewhat if u paid $1500 or less. True platinum rtc would fetch $3500+ im sure, or not even make it to the U.S. in the 1st place. Heres my dirty lucy. Still not much pigment which makes me happy, but i wont be surprised or alarmed down the road of he gains more pigment since im no high roller. Even Xanthic specimen will show pigment, i.e. orange/yellow base with pigment as dark as black.

Still a very nice specimen . I will attack a video of the ones I have a choice from
Feed it albino nightcrawlers.
Lol

My choices
Nice and armed with the information that Wednesday provided I would go with whichever one has the least bit of dark coloring on it...provided everything else about it looks in order,of course.

Yep all in order and covered . Pricing isn't too bad as I'm going direct . Guess it will be a job of choosing one of the 3 when they turn up
