so ive decided to setup plates of rocks as hidin spots, is there a trick to settin the plates up? should I take reg. rocks n put one on each side of the plate? or make a triangle with 2 plates? maybe just start stackin them?

also can cabomba be fine in 82F n free floating or stuck under a driftwood be fine?

also is there a trick to cut clay pots in half neatly?

Whichever you think looks best  Just make sure it doesn't collapse and break the tank. Cichlids and catfish like to dig and may dig away the foundation, then it all comes crashing down.

Try it out. There is more to keeping Cabombas than temp and anchoring ...

You could drill holes in a line and then crack it with a hammer, you could use an angle grinder, a Dremel, the possibilities are endless :)
