Platinum/Albino Bowfin...

On the first page of that website there is a list of bowfin stories by fishermen. In the January 2006 blurb, towards the bottom of the page, there is a guy holding what appears to be a leucistic or albino bowfin. I wonder if he knew what such a fish might be worth to an aquarist before releasing it...

Aside from wanting to share the awesomeness of the photo, I guess I was wondering if anyone has seen one of these in the hobby before?

thats a nice fish ive seen an albino one at the camp near my house and i can never get him to bite

wow that would go great with my bowfin. ive never seen an albino before. im gonna have to talk to my guy at the lfs n see if hes ever seen one pass through
