There is this LFS which is selling a Platinum Osteoglossum Bicirrhosum for SGD188. Is that too cheap? I'm seriously thinking of buying it. But I'm not too sure if it's really a real platinum cos I've heard that platinums cost thousands? Or am I wrong?

Many times platinum's are "faked" by placing them in an all white environment for extended periods of time. They eventually return back to their normal selves. If it on the cheap side then I would bet its a fake. Can you get a pic? How long has it been for sale?

I'm not sure how long it's been for sale. Probably for a 2 to 3 weeks? SGD188 is approximately USD120.
