Platinum gar. PLEASE HELP

I currently have a 150 gallon tank with a 11 inch Spotted gar. I have the opportunity to buy a platinum Spotted gar for a good price. I’ve been looking for one for a really long time. The problem is that the platinum one for sale is only 7 inches. Will my 11-12 inch one fight with him????

There shouldn't be a problem placing them together but I should warn you about buying platinum "spotted" gar. Most of them fade and turn into a normal looking gar (unless top grade of course). Be careful.
