Hi you all. I have yet another query for you. I have a female platy that gave birth about three weeks ago. I moved all the fry I could catch to a 10 gal tank that I set-up for them. I found that I missed one fry, he is still in the 29 gal tank and is much bigger than the fry I moved to the 10 gal tank. Question is when is he/she safe from being ate. He appears to be about 1/3 of an inch and is getting bolder. Don't want to move him since he is doing so well. I heard that at about 1/3 of an inch they are pretty much safe from being eaten???:grinno:

well aslong as theres lots of hiding places there will be a percentage that survives. my guppies, mollies and platys all give birth in the same tank. i dont bother removing the fry cuz tonnes live . but feed the fry small amount about 3 times aday till 1/3 inch then relise back in the tank :)
