i have a 10 gallon grow out for my feeder platy fry, and recently what could only be described as the plague has hit them. i had 15 die yesterday
they go through a stage when their fins close up and their bodies get realy skinny and afterward have seizures and what not. they die en masse and its realy pissing me off cuz i want them to be fed to my monsters not die of what i suspect is i.b. infections. i do 50% w/c every 2-3 days, temp is like 76-78 F, and im prety sure my parameters are ideal because of the light stock and heavy w/c and all the other fish are thriving in my other tanks. is there anything i can do? add aquarium salt? boost the heat? increase o2? medicate? or just wait till they die off and start the tank from scratch after thorough cleaning????? i seriously need help
