anyone ever kept P. sturio? If so tells us all the details.

I have not kept one but what a cool fish! Correct me if Im wrong but that is the duck bill cat right?

These guys were unavailble to import, but I do plan on bringing them in.. They are very cool I don't know much about them however..

I use to have one that did well for several months but it jumped out of the tank. When I discovered it he was still alive but pretty dried out. I put him back in the tank and then he died 2 or 3 days later. I plan on getting another when small ones are available again...very cool catfish.

They grow to around 24'' or so and they're constantly moving, similar to a tigrinus in behavior. They're easy to keep and will eat just about anything. Another name for them is the "Sturgeon Catfish".

if you are ever able to get one let me know. They are quite an interesting catfish. I like the oddballs. lol. What pimes that we don't normally see can you get?
