play sand alright

is play sand all right for rays...if not wat is a good sand for them

Yes it is alright for the rays, but I would recommend against it. Playsand is very light in weight, and will easily get kicked up in the tank, and will damage powerfilters.

I recommend getting 3M Colorquartz. This is hard to find for a lot of people, so if you can't find it, get pool filter sand.

Yeah a pool supply store should be good. Around here, landscape supply stores have it too.

i know 3 people using quickcrete play sand with no problems with filters on anything... sand stays put
