Well I setup another 55 Gal and this is the first time ive used play sand. I poured it in let sit for 24 hrs then changed 50 percent water. added back cloudy as can be. Then drained it 75% today placed all my rocks in the tank then filled it clear for about a hour now cloudy as crap. Do I need to removed all the rocks and stir it up a few more times? Needing to get this going good so I can put the fish in there home

wash ur sand first in a bucket with a hose! u have to sift through it while the hose is on it. get all the cloudy water out and repeat!
hmm i use playsand too.. i just poured maybe a quarter of sand into a bucket and rinsed it until i see clear..prolly about 5times i would say ive rinsed it and i just repeated this process..no cloudyness for me! my RBPs love it
