found a lil 6 inch banded water snake 2 hours ago along a road that is typically busy when i was walking with my family. Of course they told me to take it home while i was freaking out that it was poisonous because it was too dark to tell. Did a quick research and found out hes a banded water snake. We played with him for a little while, haha he was just chillin on my hand not in strike position just relaxed. Anyways I just let him go away from the road, and found out that these guys typically bite alot like 5 times in 10 minutes lol guess i was lucky

but if its your first snake go for a ball python, generally always docile and they are also cool snakes! If thats not your thing go for a Corn snake!
