Please can someone ID this pike

I just picked this pike up from my LFS. It was just labeled as a "Pike Cichlid". No one in the shop could tell me what type of pike it was.

Does anyone have any idea what type of pike is it?

I hope you can help.

95% chance that it is Cr. sp. "Venezuela". You won't know for sure until it matures.

I went back into the lfs today. They had another unlabeled pike in stock.

Any ideas what it is?

Yeah, first is 95% Crenicichla sp. 'venezuela' , second is definitely sp. 'belly crawler' !!!

Very cool! Crenicichla are totally awesome! I'm sure you'll learn that quickly!
