Please can someone tell me what fish is this!!!

Well long story short my brother In law caught it in a friends pond and it has been in my tank for about 8 months now very active eats like a pig ... but I have no clue what the hell it is .. so please help ...

Not sure about the legality but ut came out of a personal pond .. I also thought carp but then the pattern and color and hump on the head tru me off

whatever it is its awsome like a big goldfish so prob a variant of carp.

Common carp but with different color pattern ... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Ooo well he is still a very fun fish to watch keeps everyone in the tank on the move ..lol and he's about 18"

Can't see the entire dorsal fin properly. But, it looks like a buffalo. Possibly a smallmouth buffalo (Ictiobus bubalus).

Sorry guys but this isn't common carp.

Since it comes from a pond in United States, correctly? It was probably a chubsucker or a buffalo fish.
