yes, 100% Leporacanthicus triactis, very nice attractive species. Mine was so shy it would rarely come out unless it was pitch black, and they are generally considered a shy species.

never noticed any difference with them becoming bolder as time went on...
A lot of people say their shy plecos become bolder as they age, which may be true to a small extent, but if you still provide them with a hide and cover, no matter what age, that is what they'll do (often seen with pseudos... very shy juveniles - get very big and theres no where to hide in the tank suddenly that means its not shy :screwy: but a big log in there and they'll be hiding). Plecos are in the main very nocturnal.

I see mine pretty often but that could be due to having so many plecos and him having a hard time finding and keeping a decent hiding spot.

as soon as i shut my tank light off that LO91 is out and about all over infact. also he takes no crap from my small royal and my big gibby. i was wondering what you guys feed your 91 ???? mine likes meaty things for sure and he likes peas, plus algae wafers and catfish wafers. i can't get him to go up on the glass for lettuce or zucc. what should he be eating anyways???

i have a gold nugget, a small one and funnily enough ever since i put my pictus catfish into my 400L he comes out all the time with the lights on now! and he roams the glass etc. also, the only thing he will eat is courgette! he refuses to eat anything else, even those algae wafers. have tried meaty foods too but no such luck.
