So I am trying to get the most colourful, least aggressive, up to 7" max SA or CA cichlids. A bit of a task maybe! So far my current stock list for the 92G corner tank is:

6 Congo Tetra
1 EBJD (2")
1 Rotkeil Severum female (I think) - 4.5"

I had reserved a male/female pair of sajica but been told that they get very aggressive when breeding so am now only having one or two of the same sex.

My parameters are dKH: 4, dGH: 6, pH: 7.6, temp: 28C.

Thanks!

Ram's , Blue Acara , Jewel Cichlids , Apistogramma Sp' , Angel Fish , Krib's .

There a small list of a few Colourful small Cichilds you could/ might want to think about .

Thanks. Rams and apistos are too small. I already have a pair of breeding kribs in my 33G and thought that they may be too small to put in with the sev and EBJD. They are female 2.5", male 3.5".

Can I actually keep a jewel cichlid (African) with the SA/CAs?

I saw some cutteri in my LFS but they were really boring, plain white colour with faint grey stripes and a little faint bit of pink. Are they supposed to look like that? They were about 2.5 inches.

I PUT JEWELS IN AS FOOD AND THE ONES THAT SURVIVED BRED IN MY 120 WITH GTS, JDS, JAGS, RTMS, AND GRAMMODES. THEY ARE FIGHTERS.

are you yelling this? sorry, but to me the only time I use all caps is when I am yelling.

OP- geophagus, satanoperca, angelfish, uaru, etc...

I'm more into SA cichilds, so hopefully some CA cichlid people can give you some CA ideas.

CUTTTERI WILL COLOR UP NICE BUT ARE VERY AGGRESSIVE.

they SHOULD color up nicely... im not sure I would classify them as VERY aggressive. no more so than convicts during breeding. they are too small to do anything.
