Hello MFKs... can somebody tell me what kind of a silver aro is this? Is this called Platinum Blue Aro causes the is a guy on eBay from NY has one called Platinum Blue Aro 8"-10" for $380.

This blue aro I found it on youtube and to me its so beautiful.

Blue and black aros are the same species, blue.is just another trade name you see sometimes

looks like its a 5-6month old black arowana. Blue arowana is just another name given for black arowana.

Beautiful, not sure about "platinum" but the dorsal and anal fin have some damage, or defects.

Not a silver aro at all, and it also isn't platinum (not even close to it). As the others said, it's a black/blue arowana, Osteoglossum ferreirai.
