My 220 Gallon tank is leaking water really bad i just resealed it like a month ago and its not holdin i am planning to split the pains an reglae the whole thing i was wandering if anyone has ever done this an did it work an also if all else fails i would like to buy a new 220 an use this one for reptiles or something but i cant find anywhere that sells big tanks if anyone can give me a link to a site that sells big tanks that would be much appreciated thank you

Which silicone did you use to reseal the 220? You can't use GE Windows and Doors - I, you need to use something waaay stronger like GE RTV - 8 silicone.

As far as buying a new tank, you have C-List, OR you can buy directly from a manufacturer for a nice fee. Perhaps go acrylic? Won't have to worry about resealing tanks ever again!

CL man, we rarely get anything above 180 but we do get them, search frederick, baltimore, and other areas you are willing to travel to not just frederick.

www.glasscages.com have a pick up site that is around dc/md/va area. shipping charge to those location is not too bad. Depending how serious the leak is and your financial situation, a new tank upgrade is not a bad idea :)

do you happen to have a picture of the leak area? Maybe when you reseal it, air got trapped causing a bubble. Did you scraped the old silicone off and cleaned the glass with alcohol before putting the new silicone?
