Hi All

I have a 45 Gallon with 9 Red Parrot. They were doing fine, a few months back. But ever since I did a 50 percent water change fish has been sick. I checked my parameter and the results are as follows. Ammonia 1.0, Nitrite 0.0, Nitrate 40, Ph 6.4. I am frastuated, the tank is a barebottom with a eheim 2028 canister filter and a jbj submarine UV. Please I am desperately need help. Thanks

I would try and figure out why your ammonia is at 1. If
You did a wc and it's still at 1 then that means it was higher before. I would do a 50% wc and treat with prime. Then do 25% wc's everyday until ammonia is zero.

I have been doing the wc every two days but not treating with prime. Could it be possible that it is going through a mini cycle? I did changed the filter media.

Yea it's definitely possible. Go
Pick up a bottle of prime, it will keep the ammonia detoxified until everything gets back to normal and keep up with the WC's
