I found these fish for sale and not sure what they are....in the pics i see some albino tinfoils and a bala....but not sure of the other ones...look like characins of some type....

any idea what they are worth?
not sure how big but they are in a 125 gallon tank....look around 10" i would guess...

Its what pupumole said " Leptobarbus hoevenii" grow up to 18inches so iam led to beleive..beautiful fish if you have the space
they guy selling them said they are 15".....he has 5 of them.....2 14" albino tinfoil barbs...and a 12" bala shark....he wants $300 for all......that seems very high to me....

I have about 10-12 of those cigar barbs. I had them for about 2 years, the largest one is about 8 inches. They are only about $8 each for a three inch one. I would not pay that much for those fish.
I wouldn't drop $300 on that group. Cigar barbs are cooler fish but for some reason people do not keep them in there stock for very long it seems. I've seen some around here that have changed hands a few times in less then a year.

I have seen a few posts on MFK saying that their large cigar barbs became aggressive, which might explain why people are selling them.
that and they can reach 24" apparently, although the largest I have personally seen is 18" at the LFS.
