Please help fish maybe dying

I saw my poor little girl laying on her side on bottom of tank.A few days ago she was attacked by the male so I separated her.The area where he ripped of her scales is now covered with some white fuzzy stuff all over side.How can I help her!..Please anything info would be good.Here's some pics.I would be crushed if I lose her.

Now my male who wasn't hurt and in other tank is acting strange out of the blue.He's on the bottom kind of twirling around,more upside down than anything.All of my test show the tanks are o.k.What can I do!?..I love them soo much.I'm already crying like I already lost them.Please Please help.

hey man, i'm sorry to say but it looks like columnaris. A word I didn't even know until a couple of weeks ago when i brought home a texas who died and infected my tank :nilly:. Always quarantine!!!!!! My firemouth now looks just like ur female. Only the cichlids were infected. Salt dips are the preferred treatment method. Also copper sulfate
 
No need to worry about Male he died,no sores,ate well,no idea why he passes.Female still fight to live.I'm glad to know at least one member cared enough about fish to take a second and help instead of ignoring it.I guess talking about who's tank is big and who's isn't and who's an animal abuser and who's not would be more interesting to talk about just like ignoring this would be easier than replying.

im new to MFK's and im still tryin to work this posting thing but im sorry about your fish but that copper stuff should work and there is other stuff for her to help the healing process go faster.....and it haves ALOE in it
