I have a 1000 liter plywood tank. it is coated with a 2 part epoxy resin and it is actually working 100%. but now here's my problem, i thought it will be nice to silicone in a seperate piece of glass on the bottom so that it can protect it from rocks scratching the epoxy, now i have a small leak somewhere by the glass or underneath it.
My Question, must i just reseal the botton with silicone or can i paint it again with resin (resin will flow into all the cracks) and will the resin stick to silicone.
Will the silcone make the resin crack again.
