Please help I.D. Scomb/Tat/Armatus ??

This just came into my lfs, it's 7-8" and $90.00.. I know these pics are crap, but the best my "crackberry" could produce.. I know this is probably not a Armatus especially for 90 bucks but one could have slipped through the system..lol I have it on hold until this afternoon..

looks like a tat but cant see coloring on adipose fin to tell if it is armatus, not a schomb. Decent price for tat, great price for armatus

I was atleast hoping it was a Tat, i just didn't want to drop a hundred bucks for a scomb..

Cool !!! I'm def gonna grab him tonight.. I didn't think it looked like a scomb because they have baby scombs in another tank and they look and swim totally different..

I had a lot better luck keeping a group then just 1 or 2.... Competition for food seems to push them to eat more, and they appeared less skittish with a higher numbered group.

Good luck! You'll have to keep us updated as to how it's doing. Still have yet to see any big Tats over here.....

Yea all 3 pics are the same fish.. I'll have to find him some swimmin buddies, the only fish in my tank besides the rays are 4 sevs..

Agree, tried to keep in pairs without long term sucess. Have a shoal of and they seem to be doing well. they are hitting top water for jumbomin, shrimp and smelt

I'll have to see if the lfs can order a couple more in, i just hope they come in as more tats and not scombs..
