I would like to ID this JD. I think is a male but I'm no expert. Thanks

the bearding makes me think it is a female . I would vent it just to be sure !

I agree that it's looks female because of the "beard" coloration that goes under the chin. For instance here's a pair of JD's Male is on the left, Female on the right.
