Hey guys, had this little one ever since he/she was about 2 inches long. Can someone please tell me if its a male or a female. Thanks

probably a bit too small to sex...
but if its not i say male due to lack of spangling on the bottom of the gills.

Thats a tough one... I am also going to say male, even though it has some green on bottom of the gill cover, it is not enough for me to call it a female. Do you have any pics that show the length of the dorsal and anal fins in comparison to the tail (caudal) fin? I am not sure on this one.
Male the gill plate can be confusing so you have to then look at the jaw structure and then the body spangle count at that size it would be very rare to have a female with that many spangles
