All the picture above is the same type of fish from a tank A...

All the picture above is the same type of fish from a tank B...

*Note that tank A fish the body seem shorter and thicker...with bigger mouth
tank B fish seem to be with slimmer body and smaller head..

tank A - all hydrocynus vittatus

tank B - all hydrocynus forskalli

do you have a location/country where these were collected from? or what country they were exported from? I'm guessing Nigeria, as that's where most of the forskalli are exported from. Vittatus are found all across africa, even in Egypt I think down to South Africa.
