I'm fairly new to keeping cichlids and a customer from my work gave me her cichlid and I have no idea what it is. He's very aggressive, especially with my other fish that are of similar sizes (he's killed two of my peacocks) but he's alright with the smaller cichlids in my tank. When I got him, he didn't have the yellow on his body but it's starting become more prominent now. He's about 15cm or so and the lady told me when she bought them, they told her it was a south american cichlid. Anyone clue?
