hey guys I ended up with this little guy a month ago and was just wondering if it was a good enuff size that anyone could tell me what species it is please and thank you

thanks guys I figured he was going to get big. I'll be ready for when he does he will eventually go in the 220 with the silver aro if anyone has any info on keeping him healthy and if anyone has any tricks to get them to eat pellets I have the heat at 82 and I em salting cus I was told they get ick fast when they are small thanks again

I had a couple small orinos. Whole tank community got ich. So you may be right. Watch out if they start flashing. Mine did not exhibit much in the way of white spots. Pbass section has a slew of posts on feeding and getting them on pellets.
These babies can pass 20". Good luck!

I think they get it in the gills (ich).

thanks guys I appreciate all the advice I will look through the info on peacock bass see if I can get this guy eating pellets soon I herd it was alot easier to get them to eat pellets if there is more then one bass

Yep they do better in small groups 3,5,7 and put in 2-3 oscars a little smaller then the bass makes them les shy and shows them what's food
