Very young. BD hybrid is the most accurate description I can fathom. Difficult to tell if those are claspers or just folds in the fins. Take a closer look when it’s next up the glass and if Male it will have two small appendages at the base of the tail (claspers) that will grow with age

Thanks for your help! Definitely admire your collection! Any tips or suggestions for a new owner like me?

Does colors enhance as they age? What is your normal diet for your bd?

They thrive with plenty of good food and clean water. Don’t be shy with your water changes. Don’t add any tankmates that compromise the rays requirements.

Depending on the species and variant colours enhance the most during the first 2 years. Many brown species continue to get nicer patterns as they reach adulthood but the black based rays tend to vary.

I feed mine a variety of sprats, squid, prawns, worms, tilapia.
