Please help Identify my new gar

Just got in this 8" little guy today. I'm really confused as to whether it's a spotted gar or a florida gar. Place I bought it from called it an "everglades gar", which I know is incorrect. Sorry for crappy pics, but hopefully someone could shed some light as to which variety this guy is. Thanks!

Lepisosteus oculatus / platyrhincus (Spotted/flordia gar) Which one is difficult to say but it is one very nice looking fish

being that they are calling it an "everglades gar" could this be referencing the collection point? it's a long shot, but it may be worth the thought. either way you will probably never know which it is for sure...so it's safest to call it a Florida/Spotted gar...and a nice one at that.
