Please help identify

First I'd like to say that I am new here, so hi to everyone. Secondly I need your help. I recently bought this cichlid and it was sold to me as a red tiger moto. I've never kept these fish before but I for some reason don't believe I have a RTM. He's around 2.5 inches and if someone could help me out. I'd really appreciate

Tho I would see if others believe it's Dovii, only because I'm not similar with them to be

Hard to tell from those pictures but does not look like Dovii to me, looks more like a loiselli.


Get better pictures if you can for proper ID.

Yeah kinda looks like a young RTM, that headshape though. Could just be a young male that hasn't gotten his color yet. Hmm that's just my 2 cents. I could see an argument for Dovii tho.

Darn pararchromis. I guess only time will tell. Fingers crossed on Not dovii, don't have the space.
