I recently bought a 220 gallon setup off craigslist for 300 dollars which included a beautiful tank, stand, filters, pumps, lights, etc. Pretty much everything you would ever need. He gave me these saying it could be worth something and that they were rarely used. The only problem is I dont even know what they are except they are used for saltwater filtration. I only do freshwater aquariums so I have no knowledge on saltwater. If anyone could give me a little insight on what these are and what I could maybe get for them, it would be greatly appreciated!!

It would be helpful if you could post the name & model number of any equipment you have questions about.

I think the item on the right is a foam fractioner or protein skimmer that is only used on saltwater tanks. The filtration setup on the left might be a pre-filter setup for R.O. water.

Sorry should have done that instead. You are right the one on the left is a Red Sea Berlin Classic Protein Skimmer selling for 170 brand new. On the left is a Water General RD-102 Reverse Osmosis System. I have no idea what that is worth. Any clue?
