Convict Cichlid

I believe that cichlid is a hybrid, so you really have no way to ID it, and rather than blathering and taking up space about why, read the thread below.
Please ID my HYBRID fish?

Stressed female cuban would be my guess.
Definitely not convict.
Could be hybrid.

If that is a convict then it must have escaped and had a very rough time while it was on the run.

Just for reference, and comparison, here is a
female Cuban (Nandopsis tetracanthus)

It looks Cuban to me.
Not so sure on the sex.
Looking through different pictures of Cubans you can see similar patterns as the the fish in question.
The fins don’t look female but the baring on its sides does to me.

It could be a hybrid. If so I’m saying there looks to be some Cuban in the genes somewhere
