Hello,
Im having trouble viewing the classifieds.
Would $500 be a good deal for a 360 gallon with center overflow? Or can you sometimes get a larger tank for this price?
Please Help. Maybe someone who keeps their eye on the classifieds a lot?
Could $500 get you a bigger monster tank?

Thank you

It can, But yes, That a great deal.

I rarely ever see tanks over 200 Gal on CL I'm always looking on that site. in fact I'm going to look at a tank I found on there monday. Most of the times the 200 Gal are $500-$1200.

I say thats a good deal if it holds water. Not many people have room for a tank that size so they are hard to sell so you could always try and talk the seller into letting it go for less. unless its some little punk kid.

I see you are in CA I check the San Fran CL and Sac. You can find some great deals in San Fran..

HAHA I just looked at the San Fran CL and found that tank. He said he would trade but it is only 4 feet long. I think longer is better for that size unless you are doing Saltwater.

4x4 is a huge footprint.
Not a bad deal. Inspect it full if possible. Look for clarity in the seems.
Keep in mind the cost of adding filtering and heating that monster, it may exceed the price of the tank.

Thanks so much everyone.
What can you normally get for $500?
Have you sometimes seen 300+ gallons for that? (In the bay area)

Its a huge help.

Thanks so much

because generally for freshwater the fish need longer so they can swim back and forth instead where saltwater needs a bigger footprint and higher for the rocks and coral
