Please Help! Juvenile Buttikoferi not eating?

I got a buttikoferi cichlid and he isn't eating tubifex worms,cichlid pellets,blood worms or even krill why? what will he eat?

Dunno, how long have you had him? Might try some rosy reds or convict fry. Butti's seem to love killing things, my LFS's seems to get sold and then come back a little fatter all the time.

what you tried any frozen foods or maybe brine shrimp. I got one and anything that moves in the tank he wants to take a bite out of!! GL

I had him for 4 days now. 55 gallon. and he is a inch.

Oh, he is a baby. Still no luck feeding him? Maybe brine shrimp, and I'd try the blood worms again....do you thaw your frozen food first?

mine is kinda the same, although he's 4 inches & I've had him for 1 day lol but I tried pellets & tilapia so far...he nibbles here & there, but at the size he's still a baby so try some brine shrimp.
