Canada... i wish.
ok so with the loss of my orino, ive been having the urge to buy another fish... and today i went in to check out if they had any polys and they didnt... then i saw an african aro for 70 USD... i know i dont have the tank room, but the urge is taking over... how do you guys deal with this?

current set up

i still plan on getting two new polys, but this^^^^ is different...;)

Same way I don't get red tail cat. I love the fish more than I love the idea of having one. It's cruel to keep them in too small of a tank.

because they are still small.

the afro is about 7 inches or so.

You know I did the same thing. Because I bought all my fish small and it seemed to fill the tank but, within a year I had to start selling off my smaller less aggressive fish due to the aro's extreme bullying. I have a shovelnose tigercat in with my aro. They are the same size yet, every couple weeks that poor cat gets a beating noticable by the teeth marks going down his sides!

i c. by silver is nothing like that... and after watching the african aro at the store for about 5 min, he seems to be a pretty shy fish. so if i do end up getting him instead of polys, i think he'll do just fine.
