Please Help me id this fish.

OK This was sold as a "Red Lion". At the time i thought this was a flowerhorn hybrid of somesort. It was black blotched and now faded. To my knowledge this turned out to be a fading Amph LYONSI? Can anyone shed any light? I read the prof on lyonsi saying they were more calm then other amphs but this guy is a total bruiser. Anyhelp would be good Thanks.

Looks like a RD or Midas to me. As they tend to fade as they get older.

if it was sold as a red lion then I think it'd most likely be a flowerhorn of some sort.

yeah i agree with Jason, if it was sold as red lion then it is most likely some sort of flowerhorn that is heavy with midas/red devil genes, i've never heard of lyonsis fading like that, either way its a pretty sweet looking fish
