Please help me identify/sex these fish

Can you please help me sexing these fishes:


Jack Dempsey:


Green Terror:


This one is a citrinellum?

The first fish is a texas, not a dempsey. Not sure on the sex. The GT looks female to me. No idea on the third fish.

yeah i agree, the terror looks to be a female, the others are to young to know but my guess> texas is a male and citrinellum male

thanks for the answers, so the third is really a citrinellum? the same one called midas? Will it murder my whole tank when its adult?

Possibly.

And more exactly, the texas is a green texas. Texas is often reserved for Herichthys cyanoguttatum, Green Texas is Herichthys carpintis. The two are two different species, so best not to mix them up.

No argument from me... just speaking on the tendencies at large in the hobby. As far as I'm concerned, if dude thinks it's a creamsicle midas, he has nothing to prove to me. What do I know?
