:irked: One of my local fish stores dont know how to treat their flowerhorns and had like a million of them in this tank and they all picked on this little 3-4 incher.. I couldn't let it die so i got it. its pretty beaten up.

I dont know what i can really do for it to help it recover its not floating on the top or bottom of the tank. I hope its not too late for it here are some picture.

PLease tell me what to do.:nilly: its so sad.

the quality of the pics are not so good but by the looks of it, the fish is not badly damaged. the wounds will heal and the fins will grow back. give him lots of TLC in a tank dedicated for him alone.

i like your attitude man! keep it up

great job dude
i think your FH will survive this and you will really cherish him
good luck

 Well guys. I woke up yesterday morning to find him floating around with his belly up. Even though he has been breathing well I think he had suffered too much during the ordeal of when he was at the LFS. I mean its really sad because many times fishes arent treated as a life so are mistreated. Dont get me wrong i am not a tree hugger but its cruel. I just cant understand how anyone could put like 25-30 FH in a medium sized tank (~55 gallon) and just let them duke it out until someone comes along to buy them. (imagine you being locked up in a large room with very few hiding places wiht a bunch of crazy people out to physically beat you up. All the while you are praying for someone to save you by buying you.)

Well he was floating around on the belly and later that day he started to have labored breathing and then just stopped all together. It was a slow death and he was a fighter. I dont believe in taking their life because even if the fish suffers.

The only reason being that if i was on my own death bed with severe pain i would still cherish the last living breathe i take in. So I gave the fish his last moments of struggle.

Thanks for all the support. I am so angry right now about this but hey cant save all the fishes so i guess ill have to come ot terms with that lost. :irked:
