Please help me sex jaguar cichlid

Looks male. Females generally keep the black vertical strips down the body, males lose the strips and get more spots all over its body. Best to get a vent shot to tell.. just get the fish out of the water and have a look underneath.
 
Looks like my males did at that size. Males have spots on the lower jaw and gill plate females general have no spots or very few. You can see his spots starting to form on the rest of his body.
