Please help me sex my GT.

Ha ha J/K I think I got this one covered. This guy has a little hole in his side like a large scale is missing but it didn't come out to good in the pics. It is in the middle of his right side.(That kind of dark area about the same level of his eye about a 1/3 down the length of his body.) How long will it take for him to regrow it?

Nice male GT, he got some nice color on him ,the scalea wil; grow completely from 2 weeks and up, depend on your fish body defences, food, good water quality and it can last less

Thanks for the response guys. I got nervous that it could lead to some kind of disease. This guy has the big hump starting and is getting really thick so my goal is to make him into a Green Monster.
