Females tend to have more dark markings, a more gradually sloped profile, and sometimes have less pointed fins.
Yours is very young.
Here is a female, note the spots below the lateral line.
Here is a male. note the lack of spots, severe profile, and fin extensions.
I'm comfortable calling the 2nd fish a male due to the forehead area and steep overall profile of the fish(although this is not always 100% accurate). Its the "female" I'm not certain about. Sub-dominant males can look just the same as females. Need vent pics to be sure.
