please help my doviis gettin skinny

hi all,my male dovii is 12inchs and not growing much. hes 18mths old and for a while now hes not eating well.he used to eat pellets,worms and mealworms,but i cant seem to get him putting food away like i want him to.hes gettin thin and i dont believe he has worms cause his poo still dark.when he does one.please any advice or tips to get him powering again would be extremely appreciated.please sum1 help us.food?water parameters?have him on his own or not?aquascaping?

does anyone else have any ideas of what i can do.
