I noticed that my flowerhorn have a black scar this morning, it didn't looks like fungus to me since it's not white, do you guys think is a heater burn?

Looks like bruising to me, give him a few hours and as long as he doesn't keep knocking into whatever caused the mark in the first place it should disappear.
