Today I was having some problems with my little albino convict picking on my EBJD I got the convict for free so I wasn't really concerned about keeping him. So I put him in my 125 and about 2 hours later my Green Terror about 5" ate him. No surprise. I was prepared for that, but anyways he had the tail hanging out of him mouth so I though nothing of it. But them about 5 hours later he still had the fish hanging out of his mouth. Im not sure what to do, Should I remove the GT and try to take the fish out of his my myself or should I just let him work it out. I really don't want him to die so what should I do????

no just leave em be... he will spit it out if he cant handle it

how did this turn out? sometimes a fish can get stuck, because it is too big to swallow, but cannot be spat-out because of the fins . . . I've seen it happen with a GT and a catfish, and also an Oscar and a catfish . . .

^^^Yep! Sometimes fish get stuck going down the hatch when they spread out their fins. They die but their bodies are lodged in the mouth of the fish eating it. Hopefully, the GT will either work it in or out. You may have to take it out if it goes on for too long.

He spit it out when I woke up... Well there wasn't much left of the fish but the GT is fine now... Bad thing is is that I had a JAG in there that was smaller than the convict... I moved them into my big tank because the convict and jag were messing with my EBJD adn he was stressed out really bad and all my other tanks had fry in them. But everything is good now. Thanks
