Please help MFK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My large 5 year old female Oscar is turning into a balloon!

She's in my display 345gallon show tank, water parameters are:
Nitrate: averages 10-30 durring the week before changes
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Temp: 80.2

None of my other fish are showing any kind of symptoms.

She stopped eating 2 days ago and started showing this inflation/bloating last night. It started as lookibg fat all tue way to her current aired up look. Her eyes are even starting to look aired up.

My original thought was maybe she was holding eggs, as she and my male normally try and spawn every 2 weeks or so. Lately they have been quarrelibg with my Parrot over their normal spawning territory but since her eyes are looking puffed up now, I'm not so sure.

I am open to all remedies and opinions, I need to get this fish better! She is the fish that really pulled me into the hobby and I'd hate to loose her.

I have been trying peas but she doesn't seem interested. I am about to do a 50% water change and redecorate the tank to break up the dispute in hopes she drops eggs and clears up.

I'll post more pics later, I got some with my good camera but my computer is being a turd; until then here's a few from my cel.

Opinions, experience and advice is welcome. Thank you.

you're thinking peas might help by being laxative. drop that, use the epsom salts remedy= no eating needed bcuz you dose the tank water & it gets in the fish. I doubt it can hurt, even if she isn't plugged up.
Additionally, one reason epsom water soaks help PPL: it reduces inflammation & draws infection toxins out.
I have wondered if that aspect also helps fish, & not only the laxative effect.

Remember- epsom salts do NOT carry the risk factors of regular salt.

I really hope someone will post about actual experience with that overall swelling. It sounds systemic to me but...?

Best of luck to you.

I'm thinking it could be from something you fed it... what is its diet like?

Her diet is fairly normal: hikari cichlid pellets and carnisticks, nutrafin max spirluna sticks, bloodworms, krill and feeders (quarantined).

Thanks for the heads up. I will do some research on the appropriate amount of epsom to use and give that a shot tomorrow.

I went ahead and did a 75% wc, hopefully that and the new/rearranged deco helps out.

I will continue to update and would still appreciate comments, ideas, help and past experiences.

Thanks ahead of time :)

the eyes also looks like balloons.

Btw, are her lips swollen? If they are look up duck lips on fish, since that is a deadly disease that can kill a fish in a matter of days to a few weeks...

Since thats how i lost my old polleni, and he also looked a little bloated the day before he died...

The same thing happened with my female kribs and geos when they were holding and got to stressed. Try to break up the disputes, when I ignored it they all died
